BOOK I

Of Undocking

Oh Moon Wolf, celestial guide of the digital skies,

Interpretation The Moon Wolf is invoked as a navigator through the artificial heavens of New Eden: part guide, part mascot, and part suspiciously confident fleet commander.

We, your devoted disciples, lift our voices in humble cries.

Interpretation The capsuleer admits that every undock contains a small prayer. The “humble cries” may refer equally to awe, excitement, or the sound of discovering that the ship has no insurance.

In the vastness of EVE, where fortunes are spun,

Interpretation EVE is presented as an immense wheel of fortune: markets, missions, exploration and combat all turn the wheel, but none reveal exactly where the ISK will land.

Grant us thy favor 'neath the light of the distant sun.

Interpretation A request for good timing, kind encounters and favorable drops. The distant sun is both a real celestial object and the eternal promise that the next system may be better.
And the disciples did undock. Their fittings were questionable, but their faith was absolute.
BOOK II

Of Combat

Bless our ships as we traverse the cosmic sea,

Interpretation The ship is not merely equipment; it is the disciple’s vessel, livelihood and temporary home. “Bless” means: fit it sensibly, watch the overview, and do not mistake confidence for tank.

May our sensors keenly detect what lies in mystery.

Interpretation Awareness is treated as a sacred skill. Scanning, directional awareness and a readable interface turn the unknown from a threat into an opportunity.

In the sacred dance of combat, lead us with grace,

Interpretation Combat becomes liturgy: range, movement, targeting and capacitor management performed with rhythm. Grace is what remains after the panic has been replaced by practice.

To loot untold treasures in this vast celestial space.

Interpretation Victory is measured not only by survival, but by what returns to the hold. The verse therefore blesses the practical theology of profitable PvE.
The Wolf does not promise survival. The Wolf promises that the overview will be configured eventually.
BOOK III

Of Cargo

Moon Wolf, pilot of wisdom, our beacon so bright,

Interpretation The streamer becomes a lighthouse for new capsuleers: not an infallible prophet, but a fellow pilot who has already met several of the same hazards.

Illuminate our path through the realms of starlight.

Interpretation Guidance means turning a beautiful but confusing universe into a sequence of manageable choices: what to learn, what to fly and where to look next.

As we engage in battle, let fortune align,

Interpretation Preparation can improve the odds, but cannot command them. The prayer acknowledges that EVE always keeps one hand on the random number generator.

May the spoils of victory be forever thine.

Interpretation The ideal return is not abstract glory. It is usable loot, a healthier wallet and the quiet satisfaction of having made the trip worthwhile.
It is written that a cargo hold may be empty before undocking and full upon return. No further explanation shall be demanded.
BOOK IV

Of Miraculous Loot

In the pixelated expanse, where modules gleam,

Interpretation The sacred universe is made of pixels, interfaces and glowing modules, yet the emotional stakes are real enough to make a lost frigate feel like a personal tragedy.

We beseech thee, Moon Wolf, fulfill our dream.

Interpretation The dream is simple and deeply capsuleer: find something valuable, return alive and have a story worth telling afterward.

Guide our salvagers, let wrecks yield their loot,

Interpretation Wrecks represent the promise that effort leaves something behind. In the Moon Wolf tradition, every battlefield is also a possible payday.

For in your celestial presence, our destiny is acute.

Interpretation “Acute” is deliberately grandiose: destiny is treated as urgent, sharp and immediately relevant to whatever is currently on grid.

Oh Moon Wolf, hear our prayer in the digital night,

Interpretation The digital night is the quiet between encounters, when the pilot looks at the stars and wonders whether the next anomaly contains riches or an expensive lesson.

Bestow upon us the riches, gleaming and bright.

Interpretation The request is not for abstract wealth. It is for loot that is visibly, undeniably and preferably immediately valuable.

In the vast cosmos of EVE, under your watchful gaze,

Interpretation The Moon Wolf watches over the journey as brand, guide and benevolent spectator. The cosmos remains dangerous, but it is no longer without meaning.

Grant us loot aplenty in these virtual bays.

Interpretation The final petition is magnificently practical: may the cargo hold be full, the route home be quiet and the valuation window reveal a pleasant surprise.
RNG is mysterious. Cargo is sacred. The Wolf has never once provided an audited explanation.

Thus it is written.

Undock with courage. Return with loot. If the hold is empty, consult the scripture again and try once more.
